Building Dept.

The Building Department is headed by the Building Official. Building Department functions include: conducting Building Official Hearings, facilitating Pre-Development Conferences, plan review, issuing permits, conducting boiler, building, elevator, mechanical, plumbing, grading, medical gas, land use (i.e. manufactured building setups) inspections, and issuing Certificates of Occupancy. The Building Department also tests and licenses Gas Heating Mechanics I and II; Oil Burner Servicer/Installer, Low Pressure Boiler Operators and Small High-Pressure Boiler Operators; Third, Second and First Class Boiler Operators.

The City contracts with The Building Dept., Inc for building services.

Planning Dept.

The City's Comprehensive Plan provides a clear growth and development strategy for Warden.  Updated in 2009. 

The City contracts with Plan It Consulting for any Land Use, Environmental, or Planning services.
