Meet the Mayor The Mayor's role is not unlike the Governor's role at the state level as well as the President's role at federal level. The Mayor is the head of the executive branch of the City of Warden, and is the Chief Operating Officer. Other important elected officials in our government are the five members of the City Council, who make up the legislative branch of the City's government. City Council Members The City of Warden is a non charter Code City governed by the laws of the State of Washington. Warden operates under the direction of the Mayor and five Council persons. The City holds meetings of the Mayor and Council the second and fourth Tuesday at 7:00 PM, of each month. All Council meetings are open to the public and are held at City hall, located at 201 South Ash Street.
